ATG's Creative Learning Team understands that time for a teacher is limited and that now more than ever teachers are feeling the stress and strain of long hours and a heavy workload. Our Creative Learning also recognises the value of learning through a creative process and how it can engage and stimulate students, bolstering the already extraordinary work you do. So here's what we can offer you:
Your pupils will work with our truly inspiring West End professionals - all of whom are DBS checked, see ATG Safeguarding policy for more information on the Enhanced Disclosures we undertake for our staff.
All our group workshops are bespoke and can be tailored according to your student's needs. We can explore any English or Drama text on the GCSE and A-Level curriculum or otherwise.
These take place at our ATG venues/ Theatres and Pineapple Studios and will never be too far away from your booked performance in conjunction with a Theatre Production and we are also able to bring workshops to your school. We provide this service to the majority of London and are happy to accommodate you at your school if this is possible.
We can do any weekday and our workshops are available for 1.5 hours, 2 hours, 3 hours and a full day (usually 10:30 - 16:30).
In partnership with our Group Sales department, we also offer regular workshops for schools on the long-running shows like Wicked, Matilda and The Woman in Black.

In addition, we run a Work in Theatre Course taking place over 4 weeks of the year in the Easter and Summer holidays, designed to explore the options available to young people interested in a career in theatre. During the course you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in one of our West End Theatres, in areas such as Front of House, Box Office, Theatre Management, Backstage, some lighting and Sound and the opportunity to participate in workshops such as 'being a West End Producer', 'Theatre Marketing', and 'Theatre Programming.'
The intention is to give you a broad understanding of the mechanisms of West End Theatre, the roles available within the industry and a taster of the reality of the roles in order for you to fully understand what goes on behind a production.
